Holly at Amber Mace is looking for an Assistant Manager to join a well established team at a Supported Living service based in the heart of Gloucester. The service is currently rated 'Good' by the cqc. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the overall management of our supported living service. This includes overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring the delivery of person-centered care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Registered Manager in the effective management of the service
Provide leadership and support to care staff, promoting a positive working environment
Ensure the delivery of high-quality care that meets the individual needs and preferences of residents
Monitor and maintain compliance with CQC regulations and standards
Coordinate staff training and development activities
Act as a point of contact for residents, families, and external stakeholders
Participate in care planning and review meetings
Assist in the recruitment and induction of new staff members
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role within a supported living or residential care setting
Experience working with individuals with complex care needs
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Understanding of CQC regulations and quality standards
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
