Summary

Inventory Control Administrator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Inventory Control Administrator to join our dynamic Technical Operations team at our Head Office in Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimising inventory management processes within our technical operations department. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the seamless functioning of our operations by maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating procurement activities, and implementing efficient inventory control procedures.

This is a full-time role working from our office in Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire. You'll typically work Monday to Friday either 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, withdrawals, and adjustments.
* Coordinate with internal and external suppliers to ensure timely procurement of products or servicing of equipment.
* Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions as needed.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast inventory needs and optimize inventory levels to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
* Develop and implement inventory control procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
* Monitor inventory metrics and performance indicators, generating reports and analysing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Utilise inventory management software systems to track and manage inventory levels effectively.
* Move and lift equipment around from warehouse to stores/workshop.
* Support the taking of call on the service desk.

About You:

* Ideally have experience in inventory control, preferably in a healthcare environment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
* Proficiency in inventory management software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and via the telephone.
