Our Learning & Development department ensures all staff are fully trained and have opportunities for Continued Professional Development.

To be considered for this role you must have the following:

  • Minimum Level 4 teaching or training qualification (e.g. C&G 7407, PTLLS Level 4)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience of delivering training
  • Assessor qualified - CAVA/TAQA Qualification (or equivalent) to be able to carry out the assessment part of the role. (This will include assessing on a variety of internally delivered qualifications using all types and methods of assessment)

This is a 12 month FTC opportunity.

Responsibilities

Working in our well established team, you will have a diverse range of responsibilities focusing on different areas of development.

Your daily responsibilities include:

  • Identifying training and development needs through the Personal Development Review system and other training needs analysis
  • Delivering both accredited and non-accredited training and development programmes, sometimes involving some national travel as and when needed
  • Designing, amending and revising training programmes
  • Co-ordinating and assessing accredited training in line with the awarding body requirements
  • Evaluating the impact of training and qualifications on performance and reviewing course content to ensure it is meeting our Co-members’ needs

Skills & Experience

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum Level 4 teaching or training qualification (e.g. C&G 7407, PTLLS Level 4) and a minimum 3 years’ experience of delivering training
  • Assessor qualified - CAVA/TAQA Qualification (or equivalent) to be able to carry out the assessment part of the role. This will include assessing on a variety of internally delivered qualifications using all types and methods of assessment
  • Minimum GCSE Grade B and above English and Maths or equivalent
  • Substantial evidence of outstanding training delivery
  • Can evidence experience of dealing with a whole range of learners and understanding of learner needs
  • Technical skills include strong administration skills, good computer/technology skills and good written communication/record keeping skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to deliver remotely and use all related tools
  • Can plan and organise own workloads and deliver results against high targets

Desirable Criteria:

  • Level 4 Internal Quality of Assurance / Internal Verifier qualified
  • Previous experience working in Welfare to Work or ESF/SFA funded organisations
  • Experienced L&D Practitioner holding a CIPD qualification in L&D and/or a coaching qualification
  • Experience of observing and grading training and giving constructive feedback
  • Experience of 1:1 coaching to support the quality improvement process
  • Previous experience of delivering Level 3 Advice and Guidance, Education and Training and/or Employability Services Sector.
  • Experience of using LMS365
