Job Duties:
• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
• Set and operate sliding head lathes with live tooling for production within allocated time frames
• Operate machines, making necessary adjustments to machine settings as required
• Complete daily activity sheets to track work progress
• Competency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• No specific educational requirements, but relevant vocational training or apprenticeship in engineering would be beneficial
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is advantageous
• Understanding of CNC machining processes
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Good problem-solving skills
• Formal qualification in engineering or related field
• Previous experience with CNC machinery
• Typical manufacturing environment
• May involve standing for long periods and lifting heavy materials
• Strict adherence to health and safety regulations
• Hours of work are Monday - Thursday 08.00-16.30, Friday 08.00-15.30
