Summary

This exciting fixed term role involves supporting the team in BLMK to deliver vaccines to children who have missed out on their standard childhood vaccines. It will involve clinic work, as well as community health engagement to improve uptakes and education.

Delivery of vaccines to children in community clinics and schools

Health promotion engagement in a variety of settings including but not limited to schools, nurseries, community outreach and remote settings.

Education and support to families of children who have missed vaccines.

Pharmacy orders where necessary.

Vaccine and cold chain management.

Safeguarding training and support.

Training of junior staff where necessary.

Undertaking of training as required to ensure that updated policies and procedures are adhered to
