Summary


We have some exciting opportunities to join our Emergency Department teams as a Patient Pathway Tracker.

You will use a proactive approach to maintaining patient flow in our busy Emergency Department.

You will be based at Conquest Hospital but there may be a requirement for cross site cover.

The successful candidate will embark on a full training plan and will be mentored throughout.
• Assist the Nurse In Charge with the efficient and smooth flow of patients through the Emergency Department
• Liaise with nursing and medical staff under the instruction of the Nurse in Charge in monitoring patient progress through the department
• Working under supervision of Clinical Admin Team Lead, take steps to expedite flow through the department
• Work closely with the Nurse In Charge to monitor and under supervision act on triggers that impede flow
• Monitor and track patient flow through the department using the electronic whiteboard system
• Support the nurse in charge and consultant body meet key quality performance indicators – 15 minute to triage, 15 minute hand over compliance, 1 hour to treatment, 4 hour standard
• Support the clinical staff to ensure timely discharges
