About The Role
We are currently seeking a qualified tutor who is dynamic and motivated to support individuals with a learning disability to develop their independence and employability skills.
Tutors will be responsible for setting up and delivering high quality and innovative workshop style courses including:
Employability: identifying and developing personal and employability skills.
Health & Wellbeing: developing skills to lead a healthy, informed, and independent lifestyle.
ICT: develop skills in IT and reduce risk of digital isolation and using popular programmes
Tutors will be responsible for developing, planning and delivering sessions that take into account individual learning needs of the people we support. They will also be responsible for progression monitoring and final reporting.
Tutors will be expected to work with other professionals to recruit new referrals and identify key pathways for participants at the end of courses.

About You
We’re looking for candidates with a commitment to improving the lives of adults with a learning disability, as well as a flexible, innovative and person-centred approach.
The ideal candidate will be proactive and create engaging sessions online and in person that empower people to reach their potential. They will also be exceptionally organised and take ownership of learner data in line with contract requirements.
Must have AET or teaching qualification.
The tutor roles are relief contracts currently - hours would be decided each term so people would be booked to work delivering a course or two over the whole term. Groups are targeted at 8 learners and would be maxed at 12 - So in terms of hours, Tutors would deliver two hours a week for 8 weeks, looking to offer fixed-term contracts each term.
