Job Description:

Tick Education are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistants to work in secondary and primary schools Raunds and surrounding areas. As a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide essential support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in primary school settings. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and contribute to their educational and personal development.

Responsibilities:
- Work on a one-to-one basis or in small groups with SEN students, providing individualized support and assistance.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and SEN coordinator to implement personalized learning plans and strategies.
- Support students in accessing the curriculum, adapting materials and activities as necessary.
- Assist students with their academic and social development, helping them to develop independence and confidence.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes positive behavior and emotional well-being.
- Employ effective communication skills to build rapport with students, parents/guardians, and other staff members.
- Observe and record progress, achievements, and areas for improvement, and provide feedback to the teacher and SEN coordinator.
- Implement specific interventions and support strategies outlined in students' Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with external professionals, such as speech therapists or occupational therapists, to support students' additional needs.

Requirements:
- CACHE Level 3 certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience working with primary school children in an educational setting.
- Understanding of working with students with special educational needs, such as autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching approaches to suit individual students' needs.
- Strong teaching assistant skills, including behavior management and differentiation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of relevant safeguarding and health and safety policies and procedures.
- Flexibility and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
