An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to work within the Data Visualisation / Dashboard Team.

Business Intelligence is pivotal to the delivery of high quality efficient healthcare provision. The Business Intelligence Team provides high quality, robust information to operational, clinical and corporate decision makers.
The team has been pivotal in supporting the Trust and the NHS in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic, providing visibility and transparency of information.

The post is flexible, and offers a great deal of opportunity for growth - we encourage our developers to collaborate, demonstrate leadership and find visual solutions for business problems.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with Microsoft Power BI, SSRS reports and Microsoft Azure delivering a cloud based platform for reporting.

The main purpose of the role is to act at a senior level on the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of robust dashboard / reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI, to meet the requirements at an internal and external level, ensuring that appropriate methods and NHS standards are considered. The Trust is at an exciting stage with the exploration of an new data platform utilising the latest technology to enable the Trust to leverage the value of the vast amount of data held, ultimately improving care for the population we serve.

You will also have the opportunity to support and develop junior members of the team with training and mentoring.

The team has a focus on personal, professional and service continuous improvement. Accredited training is provided where required.
