Compliance Auditor

Type of job: full time (40h per week), 12 months (Maternity Leave cover)

Location: Regional role covering the South and South West region

Salary: £28,000 per annum + £4,800 car allowance

Join us as a Compliance Auditor and play an integral part in ensuring that Staffline operates at the highest level of excellence and compliance with ever-evolving legal requirements across the South and South West regions.

In this role, you'll conduct regular audits across our sites, ensuring we stay on track and within the bounds of the law. With your keen eye for detail and ability to identify areas of improvement, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our processes and practices.

The Role of Compliance Auditor:

• Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up-to-date with relevant legislation and recruitment best practices.
• Manage client audits, ensuring that all processes adhere to the highest standards of governance and legality.
• Exercise autonomy and manage your own diary to conduct efficient and proactive on-site audits.
• Document and communicate findings in a timely, accurate, and easily understandable manner.
• Propose effective solutions and corrective actions to address any identified issues.
• Regularly collaborate with directors to ensure a deep understanding of processes and governance.
• Foster a collaborative relationship with your manager to ensure audits are planned, executed, and reported in alignment with business expectations.
• Swiftly escalate any urgent issues to the appropriate channels for resolution.

Who Are We Looking For?

• Previous experience in compliance or auditing roles, ideally within HMRC or GLA.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills to engage with various stakeholders.
• Strong written reporting skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly.
• Comfortable interacting with senior clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus while working with intricate information.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel, along with the ability to maintain accurate records.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of £28,000 plus a £4,800 car allowance, Monday to Friday, 9-5, with the flexibility of working one or two days from home and traveling to different sites as needed.
