Summary


Located amidst the picturesque surroundings of Forston Clinic near Dorchester, Melstock House is inviting applications for the role of a Staff Nurse . We are particularly interested in candidates who are passionate about working with older adults and exhibit motivation and enthusiasm in their approach to mental healthcare.

Melstock House is a mixed-sex assessment unit designed specifically to cater to the older adult population struggling with functional mental health illnesses. Comprising 12 ensuite bedrooms, our unit is focused on providing superior care and treatment to individuals navigating acute phases of their psychiatric, social, psychological, and emotional health issues.

Our mission is to conduct comprehensive assessments and facilitate treatment plans that promote wellness, recovery, and self-management, thus reducing hospital stay durations. We place immense value on collaborative efforts and the involvement of caregivers, ensuring these elements are at the forefront of our care delivery process.
