We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Psychologist, registered with the HCPC, who has post qualification experience in working with children, young people and their families, in particular with health conditions, including diabetes.

This is a fixed term post to the end of October 2024 to cover maternity leave. This includes Welcome Calls and newly diagnosed groups, as well as joint work with the Team in the clinics and providing consultations.

We support our staff to deliver high quality and innovative psychological interventions with service-users through individual, systemic/family, and group work.

There will be opportunities to contribute to leadership activities, through indirect work, consultation, MDT meetings, supervision to others and service audit/evaluation activities.

There is specialist clinical supervision provided as well as support from the wider team, which consists of CAMHS Practitioners, Clinical Psychologists, Family Therapists, Psychiatrists, Nurse Prescribers, Primary Mental Health Workers, Children & Young People Wellbeing Practitioners and Psychological Therapists.

We regularly take trainees from the North West Clinical Psychology training courses and encourage staff to offer core and specialist placements to trainees.
