Summary

Are you passionate about childcare and dedicated to creating an environment where children can explore, play, learn, and have fun? We're on the lookout for a friendly and passionate full-time Early Years Practitioner who is qualified at Level 2 or higher to join our amazing team at Edith Rose. You'll be working in our lovely nursery located in the heart of Windsor - just a short stroll from the train station and close to the M4. We can't wait to welcome you aboard!

Our beautiful nursery is designed to cater to the needs of up to 24 children and offers a comfortable and safe environment for them. The nursery features two spacious and well-equipped rooms that are designed to promote creativity and learning. The outdoor spaces are thoughtfully designed to allow children to explore and play in a safe and secure environment. The nursery's facilities are well-maintained, and the staff is highly trained and experienced in providing quality care for children.

Daily Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Child-Centered Engagement:

Develop and implement age-appropriate, stimulating activities and learning experiences.
Foster a positive and imaginative atmosphere that encourages children's growth and development.
2. Child Wellbeing and Safety:

Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your care.
Maintain a clean and organised learning environment.
3. Curriculum Enrichment:

Tailor our curriculum to meet individual children's interests and needs, promoting their development in various areas.
4. Positive Communication:

Establish effective communication with parents and guardians, offering regular updates on children's progress and achievements.
Collaborate with team members to share creative ideas and best practices.
5. Professional Growth:

Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in early childhood education.
Participate in relevant training and development programs.
6. Flexible Shifts:

Work according to our rotational shift pattern, including 8:00 am - 5:30 pm, 8:30 am - 6:00 pm, and 9:00 am - 6:30 pm, with a one-hour lunch break.
7. Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive salary ranging from £20,199.40 to £27,315.60 per year, aligned with National Living Wage age groupings.
Twenty-five days of annual leave per annum, excluding bank holidays.
Half a day off to celebrate your birthday.
Half a day off, you are our employee of the month.
Additional time off during the Christmas and New Year period when we are closed.
Qualifications:

Essential: Early years childcare qualification.
