Gi Pro are proud to be working in partnership with one of the UK's largest independent Steel Toll Processor's. The company in question are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Elec Bias.
Job Role:

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be tasked for carrying out reactive, preventative, and proactive maintenance for all equipment on site. Maintaining a range of specialist machinery and equipment throughout their factory.
Typical Duties will involve:

  • Installation work on both factory and process machinery.
  • Fault find on 415v, 240v, 110v and 24vac and dc systems.
  • Follow CCT diagrams to aid fault finding.
  • PLC, establish necessary input/output (no program facility)
  • Fault find on OHC's, Remote handsets, contactor function, fuses.
  • DC drives/inverters basic knowledge would be an advantage.
  • Maintain high bay lighting replacement, repair, and LED upgrade.
  • Test emergency lighting and evacuation alarm system.
  • Involved in CCT design and control panel building.


Desirable experience

  • Must have a relevant engineering qualification electrical preferably.
  • An electrical bias with sound mechanical knowledge.
  • Relevant engineering qualifications or apprenticeship.
  • NVQ Level 3
  • 18th Edition
  • Apprentice or time served
