Summary
Are you a Psychologist seeking a new LOCUM challenge? Do you have previous experience working with C&YP suffering with Eating Disorders?
Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Band 8a Clinical Psychologist for a LOCUM contract supporting Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust. The successful candidate will provide psychological support to Children and young Adults with Eating Disorders. The contract will run for an initial period of 12 months with the likelihood of extension.

Pay Rate: £35.00 LTD p/h + £250 SCS Sign-Up Bonus
Location: Coventry
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:30 (Early finish on Friday)
Contract: 37.5 hours per week
This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the psychological well-being of individuals with eating disorders, working within a supportive and dynamic multi-disciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting psychological assessments and providing specialised treatment for individuals, children, and families with severe mental health issues.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in CAMHS or similar settings for integrated care delivery.
- Maintaining professional registration and ethical standards as an Applied Psychologist.
- Applying systemic psychotherapy approaches to address eating disorders and related challenges.
- Continuous professional development to stay updated in clinical psychology.
- Providing consultation and guidance to colleagues and caregivers.
- Upholding professionalism in emotionally charged situations, ensuring safety.
- Developing evidence-based interventions and treatment plans.
- Participating in supervision, case conferences, and meetings.
- Documenting assessments and treatment plans accurately and timely.
Requirements
- HCPC Registration
- Previous experience working with CAMHS
- Experience with Eating Disorders
