More detail about the role: An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Cross-Sectional radiographer to join our busy and friendly imaging team. You will need to be a well-motivated and enthusiastic radiographer with a flexible approach to work. The successful candidate will ultimately have the opportunity to work within both CT and MRI. At present we have 2 Siemens 1.5T Avanto fit MRI scanners with access to a 3T Prisma working in partnership with the University of Exeter to scan both NHS and research patients. We have 3 CT scanners: Siemens Definition Edge, Siemens AS plus and a Siemens Go Top. We are working with the Exeter Nightingale Hospital which is a diagnostic centre and have 2 CTs and 1 MR scanner located at this site. You will need good communication skills and a flexible approach to work encompassing high standards of patient care. You will be expected to participate in the CT/MRI on call service and any shift or extended working day patterns to meet service requirements. The service operates from 8am to 8pm seven days a week. Successful applicants with only experience in one modality will be provided with full training. Both full time and part time hours will be considered.
