**Self Employed Support Worker Cambridge, CB2**
** Up to £19.16 per hour depending on experience**
About me:
I am a 55 years old lady and live in Cambridge. I require support with personal care tasks, and support with meal preparation and basic support with household tasks and support with access in the community/appointments. Hours and Rate of Pay:28 hours per week up to support with all social care tasks plus 2 hours a month for community support times that are required can be discussed and negotiated with employer. Up to £19.16 per hour depending on experience. Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required.
What you would be doing:
AM: 2 hours daily - to provide support with all personal care tasks, breakfast, drinks, preparing sandwich/snack for lunch, bed changing when needed, ensuring kitchen and bathroom surfaces are cleaned and free of hazard. PM: 2 hours daily - PA to provide support with hot meal, drinks, personal care tasks needed, laundry when needed and getting ready for bed. Also 2 hours per month to access community and attend appointments. Establish a close working relationship on a one-to-one basis Discuss and resolve problems as they arise. My needs may vary on a daily basis; therefore hours, duties and tasks may alter form the care plan. To undertake any training as appropriate for the role.
The person I would like:
You would be a self-employed worker registered (or willing to be registered) with HMRC. Someone who enjoys being active, who has the skills to give me support with building my confidence and self-esteem & promoting my independence. Some knowledge and experience with working with people with people with support needs. You should have a genuine interest in the provision of high quality care, be able to work flexible hours and be a good communicator and also possess the motivation to develop trust and understanding within the role. Be hardworking, reliable, committed, honest, and trustworthy with cheerful a sense of humour.
