Summary
Alfa Leisureplex Group has an opportunity for a Head Chef to join the team at The Imperial Hotel, Ilfracombe
Working Hours:
As a Head Chef you will work circa 45 hours per week, including weekends & split shifts with a rate of £35,000 Per Annum.
Being a Head Chef:
Your main responsibilities as a Head Chef will be to offer a set menu on a 7 day cycle system for our coach customers. The menu is repeated each week, with the majority of starters, mains and sweets made in-house using fresh produce. You will work with our suppliers and be responsible for the budget. You will also oversee and be responsible for the a la carte restaurant to cater for our private guest. Therefore this is a very varied role offering 2 different menus.
The kitchen has a small team which will work under you and whose training and rotas you will over see .You will also have responsibility for temperature control records, cleaning schedules and other related company administration documents. As well as weekly stock take, food ordering and produce security.

Essential Skills:
At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
Excellent communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to learn new skills quickly
The ability to be flexible and keep calm under pressure
Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of the travel, tourism and hospitality industry
