With a dedicated Fundraising and Marketing team, we aim to raise awareness of our work, increase community engagement, and achieve our fundraising targets to continue providing vital services.

We are seeking a Digital Fundraising Marketing Lead to join our team, you will play a crucial role in achieving our annual income target of £20m for 2024. Working across a range of digital channels, you will engage both existing and new audiences, converting them into donors. Reporting to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, you will support in executing digital fundraising and marketing strategies and play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the Jewish Care brand.

This post is working Monday to Friday for 36.25 hours per week.

What you will be doing:
  • Develop and execute digital fundraising and marketing activity plans in collaboration with the Senior Digital Marketing Manager to ensure digital integration across all marketing efforts.
  • Identify and implement digital fundraising opportunities through competitor analysis, audience insights, and internal brainstorming sessions.
  • Create and implement external email communications targeting Jewish Care supporters, volunteers, and service users to promote events, work, and services.
  • Develop and implement internal email communications targeting Jewish Care staff to engage them in organisational news and events.
  • Design and implement digital banner adverts to promote various services offered throughout the year and drive traffic to the website.
  • Update the organisation’s website with new content and images to ensure up-to-date information reflective of the Jewish Care brand.
  • Curate content for the social media content calendar to be used across digital channels.
  • Produce reports and analysis on digital channel and banner advert performance to formulate recommendations for optimisation.
You will need:
  • Qualification in marketing, communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in digital fundraising and marketing, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
  • Detailed experience in fundraising, particularly using various digital platforms successfully.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms, including email marketing software, social media management tools, and website content management systems.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tactics, such as SEO, content marketing, and online advertising.
  • Proficiency in analysing data and metrics to evaluate campaign performance.
  • Understanding of fundraising principles, including donor cultivation and stewardship.
