Summary


We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic Operational Manager to work within our well established Head & Neck services. The post will be cross site, requiring you to work in both York and Scarborough Hospitals. You will be an experienced and compassionate leader, supporting operational, administrative and clinical teams to deliver high quality care in Head & Neck services.

You will have an interest in service improvement and will be a responsive and autonomous leader. The post will provide you with an opportunity to work closely with colleagues enhancing Head & Neck pathways and ensuring timely access to acute and planned care. You will benefit from the support of your peer managers, clinical leads and the senior management team.

You will be jointly responsible for the operational management of Head & Neck Services within the surgical directorate delivering high quality, effective and efficient care to patients.

The post holder will report to the General Manager for Head & Neck Services and work in partnership with senior colleagues within the Care Group and the wider Trust, to ensure delivery of the portfolio of services and activities within a clinically and financially sustainable model.

The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day line management of administration and clerical functions within the Care Group.
