Summary


We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated Support Medical Secretary to join our expanding team.

Applicants must have a knowledge of medical terminology and experience of audio typing. Being a team player is essential along with excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

A working knowledge of office procedures and Microsoft packages is required however, training will be provided in the use of Trust systems.

Following a minimum period of 12 weeks induction and training we would be happy to discuss a blended working pattern as a flexible working option.



An excellent knowledge of medical terminology along with excellent keyboard and audio typing skills are essential as the role involves medical audio typing.

Being a team player is essential together with first-rate organisational skills.

Following a period of induction we would support a blended working pattern as a flexible working option.

The role would also be suitable for flexibility around working hours.





The Secretary of State has approved the partnership between St Helens & Knowsley Teaching Hospitals and Southport & Ormskirk Hospitals.

On 1stJuly we came together as a single organisation under the name Mersey & West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
