Summary

The Role: To support a 11-year-old female individual, with a diagnosis of autistic spectrum disorder, to maintain their independence by supporting them in their day-to-day life. She enjoys being outside in nature, walking and animals. This job role is not to be based within the family home, it’s to support with activities out of the home. This is an employed and one to one working position. Those with experience in autism would be encouraged to apply.
Main Duties:
• To understand and respond to her care needs
• To always supervise to ensure her safety when accessing activities within the community
• To support in activities within the community (i.e. going for walks, trips etc.)

• Respectful of dignity and independence
• Good communication skills and social skills
• Punctual, reliable and flexible
• Ability to work on your own initiative
• Understanding, adaptable and organised
• Car owner with driving license, use of own vehicle required, and business insurance essential (please note that the client does have a bus pass)
• You must like dogs as the family have one as a pet
Please note that this role may be subject to a DBS check, your employer may also ask for you to supply references.
You must be able to prove the right to work in the UK. No sponsorships are available.
Hours: 3 hours per week term time, 6 hours per week during school holidays
Pay: £12.00 per hour
