Summary


12 Month Fixed Term Contract/Secondment.

This is an exciting time to join the Trust with significant opportunity for an exciting career pathway within the HR team where the work is always interesting and we never stand still!

As a People Partner you will manage and lead the delivery of a Trust-wide operational HR service with alignment to specific Divisions. Reporting to the Senior People Partner, you will be responsible for managing a team to deliver the people operational service objectives of the Trust People Strategy for the medical and non-medical workforce.

You will define and deliver a high standard and data informed People Operations service to become consistent across Divisions and supported by a team comprising Assistant People Partners and Advisors. You will be responsible for coaching and developing your team to achieve a high quality service across the following key areas of activity:
• Introduction of a consistent People Operations service for medical and non-medical workforce;
• Leading change management and TUPE transformation programmes;
• Co-ordinate diverse portfolio of complex Employee Relations case work;
• Manage the review and performance of Divisional workforce Key Performance Indicators to identify practical areas of improvement in the People Operations service to support stakeholder compliance

You will lead the operational People agenda and team to adopt a coaching culture of management support, restorative justice and equality, diversity and inclusion best practice. You will demonstrate experience in developing effective working relationships at a senior level and the ability to influence and negotiate solution-focused outcomes to complex Employee Relations matters. In this role, you will have the autonomy to make an impact through the introduction of new and improved ways of working and contribute to continual improvement, embedding best practice People services, providing consistent policy advice and leading your team on a journey of supportive growth and opportunity.

As an experienced People professional, you will offer the following skills:

1. Report to the Senior People Partner with responsibility for the delivery of the operational People service across specified Divisions, to deliver an operational People service aligned with the objectives of the
Trust People Strategy and Divisional business objectives.

2. With the strategic guidance of the People Partner, act as the key interface in building effective working relationships between the divisional teams and the People operational delivery team (Assistant People Partners and the Advisors) to ensure the delivery of responsive operational People service.

3. Introduction of a consistent People operational service for medical and non-medical workforce across the Trust to cover all areas of HR activity, people management practice and workforce KPI performance.

4. Provide the technical expertise and guidance to lead change management and TUPE programmes, case work, policy update and training understanding appropriate policy applicable to different terms and conditions.

5. Review and identify trends and analysis to Divisions of responsibility to ensure the delivery and achievement of workforce KPI targets and support team with recommending and undertaking interventions where appropriate to facilitate performance improvements.

6. To oversee and manage the delivery of key workforce reports to Divisional stakeholders through attendance at key Divisional meetings and management of the People operational team to support stakeholder management, implementation and improvement plans through ward reviews and other management meetings.
