Summary


We are looking to recruit a capable, helpful, self-motivated, and enthusiastic Administration Assistant who will be a key team member in providing support to the Surgery Care Group, predominately the General Surgery and Urology & Trauma and Orthopaedics directorates.

The successful candidate will be required to have good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise the demands of a busy office and manage their time and workload effectively. We are looking for someone with the ability to work well on their own and as part of a team.

Part time hours 25 – 30 hours per week, within normal office hours, days and times can be flexible. It is possible that some of the hours could be worked from home as part of a flexible working agreement.

The post holder will be required to undertake a variety of tasks including;
• Management of personnel files.
• Minute taking.
• Compiling reports and data for Care Group meetings.
• Organising return to work meetings for staff after sickness.
• Supporting with recruitment.
• Deputising for the Care Group Secretaries.
