Summary


We are looking to employ a detail-oriented and experienced production planner to create, modify, and manage production schedules. Working within the planning team that oversee the Mould shop, Assembly, Battery and Spares planning



Duties



Help to support the planning team with reporting functions

Learn Sofco & JDE systems

Learn and develop Battery plant planning tool and liaise with Moulding shop with production of plastics

Learn and develop Assy Build, Battery planning and spares Assy build ahead

Coordinating production operations in accordance with material, labour, and equipment availability

Provide cover for the team

Monitor production progress and ensure that final product meets quality standards and customer specifications

Work with key stakeholders to understand where improvements can be made

Ensure system changes are in line with business strategy

Involvement in Engineering change projects and planning resources to ensure timescales are met

Promptly addressing and resolving production issues to minimize delays in production



Required knowledge, skills or experience



A sound knowledge of Microsoft Office especially in Excel

Personable and approachable with excellent communication & time management skills

Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills

Able to prioritise workload accordingly

Meticulous and diligent

Able to demonstrate a “What can I do attitude”

Location: Newton Aycliffe



Hours of work:



08:00AM – 16:00PM: Monday – Thursday

08:00AM – 14:30PM: Friday





Rates of pay:

25-35K depending on experience
