Liverpool City Council is looking to recruit a Night Team Organiser. Sedgemoor Hub is a vibrant working environment. We have thirty beds and we are developing our service to provide not only reablement beds but also respite for people with dementia and residential beds for people with dementia . The role of Team Organiser is busy and satisfying. You will be part of the management structure and also have the opportunity to work as part of multidisciplinary team with colleagues from health.
Liverpool has a strong track record in promoting independence and enabling people to live well at home. Would you like to be part of a successful team working with other health and social care professionals to ensure we continue to provide a holistic assessment which has maximum benefit to service users and their families?
Do you want to be part of a team that also specializes in providing person centred support to people living with dementia and their families.
We are looking for an energetic, experienced person to join the team of Team Organisers. You should have both knowledge an experience of holistic reablement and supporting people to live well with dementia. You should be committed to providing the best support to achieve individual goals and maintain skills . We want to ensure people here for reablement reach their reablement potential and return home wherever possible. People here for respite, feel like they have been on holiday and people living here feel it is their home and are supported to live well. You should be able to deal with referrals, write and review individual care plans, risk assessments and other essential records. Good communication skills are a must! Administering medication is a daily task it is essential you have experience in this. You will be given certified training and support to do this safely and confidently.
You must demonstrate an awareness of relevant CQC legislation, safeguarding and Health and Safety. All of which are of paramount importance to our service. Following guidance is crucial but you should also demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to person centred care.
You will supervise staff as part of your role and you should demonstrate leadership qualities, knowledge and confidence in this
In return, you will join a hardworking and supportive team. You will be given training in all aspects of the role and have opportunities for personal development. You will have regular supervision and team meetings and benefit from Liverpool City Council terms and conditions including being part of local government pension.
This position is a Night Team Organiser and shifts are 10pm until 8am across a two week rota. You will work
Week 1: Monday Tuesday Saturday and Sunday.
Week 2 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
