Role Length: This opening assignment is for 11 months

Your role is to deliver strategic analysis that supports senior decision-makers in the Violence Reduction Partnership. You will interpret and analyze data, research, and external factors to enhance understanding of serious violence, helping ensure all communities across Merseyside can live free from violence and have the best opportunities for a better life.
Key duties:
Provide analytical services to the VRP by analyzing, interpreting, and monitoring results, offering inferences and recommendations as needed.
Research, produce, and deliver strategic analysis findings in reports and presentations to senior officers and stakeholders to inform decision-making and promote best practices.
Compile accurate performance data and create timely analytical products for the VRP Evidence Hub Manager, Director, and stakeholders, focusing on serious violence.
Design and develop solutions to meet new analysis requirements and improve multi-agency data processes, supporting the VRP Evidence Hub Manager and Director.
Investigate and assess new analytical tools, techniques, and software to improve analytics for information collection, analysis, and presentation.
Key requirements:
Detailed knowledge of a wide and diverse range of multi agency information systems to understand the processes and data that are available for analysis and measurement of performance.
Extensive knowledge of computerised query building.
Experience and understanding of analytical concepts,processes and techniques and in applying innovation and creativity to the function.
Significant experience in selecting and using appropriate statistical research tools and techniques, with the ability to add interpretation, draw conclusions and make recommendations.
Organisation and time management skills, particularly in relation to the management of workload together with the ability to demonstrate flexibility in terms of working practices and in meeting demanding and impromptu deadlines.
Ability to scrutinise, question and dissect large amounts of information.
Ability to identify areas that require investigation.
Proven ability in communication, both verbal and written with the ability to present / prepare reports.
