You will be joining a Tier 1 contractor working on water schemes in the Leicester area. Their commitment to delivering an exceptional standard of work has positioned them as a leader within the Civil Engineering industry and, due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Project Manager to join their team.
Your new role
As Project Manager you will be based in the Leicester area and be responsible for, but not limited to, producing financial forecasts, monitoring and controlling project costs and cost reporting, delivering projects from design phase through to completion, developing and maintaining construction programmes, chairing weekly site meetings, ensuring detailed site diaries/records are completed as well as reviewing progress, budget resources and forward planning.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have proven experience as a Project Manager in the water sector or sufficient experience as a Site manager or Site Agent looking for a step-up. In addition, you will hold a CSCS card, SMSTS and First Aid qualification, and have good working knowledge of NEC contracts. Finally, you will have strong problem-solving skills and be able to liaise proficiently with internal and external stakeholders.
