Summary

Learn why attention to detail is so important for our housekeeping department, spend time with our baristas perfecting your hot beverage skills and find out how to make the perfect cocktail.
Preparation of all food types and finishing methods
Understand cooking methods for sauces, stocks and soups
Understand basic costing and yield of dishes and the meaning of gross profit
Deliver excellent customer service and learn the variety of beverages and their basic characteristics
Learn a variety of technology packages commonly used in the industry
Learn how to clean and maintain public areas and bedrooms
Gain valuable knowledge into business procedures for delivering reception operations
Training
The successful candidate will be required to attend Exeter College on a weekly basis to complete their Apprenticeship Qualification.
Qualifications required
Maths and English GCSE Grade 4/C or equivalent, or willing to work towards.
Skills required
Ability to work as part of a team
Attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions
Prospects
Progression through different departments.
Qualification / Standard : ST0233 Hospitality team member
Duration 18 Months
