Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM service provider situated in Kent. CBW is currently recruiting for a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to cover a number of commercial sites in SM, CR, SE and DA postcodes. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in commercial AC building maintenance with an all-around understanding of most M&E/Fabric plants. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance. In return, the company are offering a competitive salary paying up to £46,000, a company vehicle, and a fuel card.
Duties:
- PPM & Reactive maintenance
- Air conditioning and refrigeration - Service/maintenance
- Your main duties will be service and maintenance on split systems, VRVs, VAVs and VRFs, AHUs, FCUs, Chillers and all HVAC and refrigeration plants.
- Respond promptly to service calls and work orders for air conditioning system failures or malfunctions in commercial facilities
- Conduct routine inspections of air conditioning systems in commercial premises according to predefined schedules
- Diagnose the root cause of system failures through troubleshooting techniques such as pressure testing, temperature readings, and electrical testing
- Perform repairs or replacements of faulty components, including compressors, condensers, evaporator coils, and refrigerant lines
- Document all reactive maintenance tasks, including parts used, repairs performed, and recommendations for system improvement or replacement
- Provide technical support and guidance to building maintenance staff or other relevant personnel on air conditioning system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Adhere to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and manufacturer specifications in all maintenance activities
Hours of work & Salary
- Basic Salary of up to £47,000
- 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
- Monday to Friday working 08:00am – 17:00pm
- Company Vehicle
- Full company uniform
- 30 mins travel each side.
- Call out 1 in 10
- OT at 1.5 for during the week and Saturdays and x2 for weekends.
- Full expensed van and mobile phone and uniform
- Private use of the van
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 Refrigeration & Air conditioning
- F-Gas 2079 Cat 1 (Essential)
- Good Air conditioning maintenance knowledge
- Extensive experience working within commercial environments
- Full UK Drivers Licence (Clean)
- Experience working in a mobile role
