Summary
Join us as a Coverage & Sector Content Associate
- You’ll support Coverage & Sector Content bankers, in our Insurance, Wealth and Brokers (IWB) team, with origination activity, including debt, risk management, transaction banking, deposits, rates and Foreign Exchange products
- You’ll have the opportunity to develop a network of relationships with internal product specialists to understand and shape client strategies and provide a market leading service to existing and prospective IWB clients
- It’s a critical role, where your work will directly support the bank in maintaining and developing excellent customer relationships
What you’ll do
As a Coverage & Sector Content Associate, you’ll support our specialists in building and maintaining business with their customers across Insurance, Wealth Management and Broker sectors. You’ll provide analytical capability to understand customer and sector requirements and deliver appropriate solutions to meet those requirements.
Throughout the course of your work, you’ll support specialists in all aspects of activity to present the bank as the leading partner to customers. You’ll develop key skills and knowledge in corporate finance and loan markets, while developing trusted relationships with customers.
You’ll also:
- Support your colleagues in all aspects of commercial strategy and internal stakeholder management, including assessing and executing event driven and structured finance opportunities
- Develop a good understanding of credit risk implications across the product spectrum
- Assist in transaction execution to support income growth from the sector
The skills you’ll need
We’re looking for someone with good knowledge of sector coverage and a proven ability to solve complex problems. We’ll also look for you to have a solid track record of working with others to build business success.
You’ll also need:
- A basic understanding of credit risk dynamics, with an ability to develop these in the context of the IWB sectors
- The ability to build a good network across the bank
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
