Summary
Our client in Fishponds, are looking for a CNC Turner to assist in the manufacturing of parts through the production process.
Hours:
- 37 hours per week - Day shift, Monday to Friday (hours can be discussed).
- (Either 7.30-4pm Mon to Thurs 7.30-12.30pm Friday)
- (or 6-2pm (11am finish on Friday) rotating weekly to 2-10pm (11-4pm on Friday)
Pay rate:
- Starting from £14.64 per hour (depending on experience) + 25% shift allowance on rotating shfit
Location:
- Fishponds
Duties:
- Setting and Operating CNC Lathe Machines using Fanuc controls.
- Ensuring performance of part production to planned set and run times and Quality requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring correct materials, Route Cards, drawing are used to produce components.
- Setting up tools, offsets etc ready for your own operation to commence and assist Operators where appropriate.
- Ensuring Delivery Schedule Adherence of parts to system / route card dates.
- Responsible for ensuring work is completed on time in full to process routing / system date requirements.
- Involvement and attendance at SQDCP meetings in assigned area/s.
- Producing high complexity components from a range of materials.
- Adhering to quality standards.
Essential skills:
- Setting and Operating CNC Lathe Machines using Fanuc controls.
- Producing high complexity components from a range of materials
- Good working knowledge of manufacturing techniques and Engineering drawings.
Previous experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist would be advantageous.
