Summary


Due to a secondment for 13 months an opportunity has arisen for a Chief Cardiac Physiologist in Echocardiography to join our team and become an integral part of a highly motivated and enthusiastic member of our Cardiology Department.

It is essential to be BSE accredited for this role and to work alongsideour team of Cardiac Physiologists, performing and reporting Echo's, assisting in various other complex cardiac diagnostic tests, TOE's, Dobutamine/ exercise Stress Echo's, Contrast and Bubble Echo's.

Experience in performing and reporting exercise tests, analysing tapes , fitting BP monitors and ECGs is advantageous.



The hospital provides a full range of cardiology proceduresboth an inpatient and outpatient setting. In the role you will be working very closely with our team of cardiac physiologists to perform a wide range of routine and complex echocardiograms within the trust.Play a supporting role for transoesophageal echocardiograms in conjunction with our Cardiology consultant colleagues. To assist with the physiologist led service undertaking stress echocardiograms.

To report on your echo findings and adhere to the BSE guidelines.

Undertake ECG's, 24hr tape analysis, fitting BP monitors and exercise tests.

You should have relevant experience as Band 7 and possess a BSc Degree in Physiology or equivalent. Essential to be Adult echo BSE accredited.
