Are you an experienced and passionate senior recruitment professional who can lead a team and deliver exceptional results? Do you have a solid knowledge of current labour legislation and best practices in sourcing and hiring talent? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join Mitie as Head of Recruitment - Security.
Where: Our Head Office - Northampton Business Park, Northampton, NN4 7SL
Hours: 37.5hrs per week
Salary: £65,000 per annum
As Head of Recruitment, you will be responsible for overseeing and improving our recruitment processes and ensuring that we hire the right people for our business. You will supervise the recruitment team, track recruiting metrics, implement new sourcing methods, review recruitment software, and advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques. You will also participate in job fairs, build professional networks, and stay updated on labour legislation and regulations.
What we are looking for
-Proven work experience as a Recruiting Manager, who has successfully managed a team in a demanding high-volume recruitment environment.
-Hands-on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check etc.)
-Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Strong decision-making skills
-Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
-Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required
-A degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or relevant field
