The job will be based at the RVI, which is the regional major trauma centre, and Freeman Hospital, which it a tertiary referral centre for elective orthopaedic surgery. The elective orthopaedic service at Freeman delivers tertiary level care for major joint replacement surgery, soft tissue knee surgery, foot and ankle surgery, hand and wrist surgery and houses the regional bone and soft tissue sarcoma service, one of only 5 in the country.
