Summary
**Bank Personal Assistant/Carer Worker Required**
**Car Driver Essential Rural Location Chorley, Nr Nantwich, CW5**
**Please note This is a bank position to join a team of PAs to help to cover existing PAs annual leave.**
I am a gentleman who was born with a syndrome which means that I have a severe learning disability. As a result of my syndrome, I need supervision 24 hours a day. I have had leukaemia in the past which means I also have a compromised immune system. I like painting, watching DVDs, listening to music, and going for a short walk. I need someone special who will be able to support me in my everyday life.
**Hours & Pay Rate**
£11.50 per hour.
Days & time can vary and will be discussed at interview.
This is a bank position to cover existing PAs annual leave.
**Main Duties:**
All aspects of Personal Care.
Domestic Duties: Support with cooking and service nutritious meals and snacks, cleaning, changing linen, laundry, ironing (These duties may vary from day-to-day
Social Duties: Attend medical appointments with me Support me to keep in touch and socialise with family and friends Car Driver is essential.
**Skills and Specifications:**
Drivers licence essential due to rural location.
Honest/trustworthy Reliable/punctual
Non-judgemental Flexible/Adaptable Able to work alone Positive Willingness to travel
Understand equality and diversity
Good Sense of humour
Confidentiality Good at building relationships
Computer literate Good Communicator/listener Full training will be given
Successful applicants will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check, paid for by the Employer
