Summary
TeacherActive are looking to grow our pool of supply teachers to support growing demand from our partner schools around Gillingham and across Medway. As a supply teacher you will be responsible for supervising classes of students and delivering planned cover work provided by the class teacher. A supply teacher role is ideal for recent graduates looking to pursue a career in education, or for educators that have experience of coaching and training school aged students.
A successful supply teacher will have:
• Experience with supervising Children within a school setting
• Experience working within a Secondary Setting, or coaching secondary aged students
• A good understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection
• Excellent behavioural management
