Summary


We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our well established and highly respected team.

As an Advanced Rehabilitation Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing clinical assistance and support to the team of qualified occupational therapists and physiotherapists. This will include carrying out activities of daily living, exercise programmes and issuing relevant equipment, ensuring the highest standard of patient care. You will be able to refer to the qualified therapists for guidance and supervision where necessary.

You will have the chance to work in the following acute ward areas: -
• Musculoskeletal Outpatients
• Respiratory (including medical, respiratory, surgery and amputees)
• Older People’s Services
• Stroke and Neurosciences

We are looking for a committed person with excellent communication skills who has previous experience in the health or social care setting

To assist the therapy team in providing a high standard of service to patients referred from a variety of settings. Including supporting the multi-professional team in the assessment and implementation of treatment programmes and care plans for patients. The post holder will work with patients from all areas of the acute hospital including elective orthopaedics, musculoskeletal outpatients, surgery, medical, amputees, older peoples’ services, and the stroke unit.
