Summary

WR Fundraising Recruitment has an opportunity to work with an amazing animal charity providing a vast array of rescue and support services in London and internationally.

At a genuinely exciting time of development we are looking for an experienced community and events fundraiser to join the fundraising team to develop a portfolio of community fundraising activities and events from within the charity’s strong local supporter base.

The charity enjoys a wealth of local support from community groups, local businesses, schools and volunteers and we’re looking for someone to manage some wonderful relationships with supporters.

Full Time, Permanent
London with flexible / hybrid working
£30,000 - £33,000 per annum on experience

Duties will include:
• Managing a portfolio of fundraising events and community initiatives, including third-party events, challenges and annual events
• Developing and managing a portfolio of community fundraising activities and events
• Grow fundraising income from community and voluntary relationships
• Research potential local and fundraising opportunities with community groups and businesses
• Work with local community groups to raise awareness of and support for the charity
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling campaigns and materials

Ideal candidates will have:
• A proven and successful track record of planning multiple fundraising activities and events throughout the year.
• Experience creating and managing great supporter relationships to deliver agreed objectives and income targets.
• Ability to plan income/expenditure budgets and analyse results
• Ability to motivate, inspire and lead supporters at various levels
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly across the area and work unsociable hours occasionally (TOIL)
• Full Drivers licence
