Summary


We are currently looking for a payroll administrator to work within the payroll team in the administration and support of the Payroll and Pensions service to all Trust employees.

You will be required to control the distribution of emails received in the shared departmental inbox, ensuring that emails are given to the relevant payroll or pensions officer in a timely manner and maintaining a record of emails received. You will also be responsible for opening and distributing all post received into the department.

You will also oversee all aspects of maintaining employee’s personal files which are stored off-site, liaising with the external company when required, recalling files when requested and monitoring the collection/return.

You will support the payroll manager and payroll officers to ensure the efficient operation of the Trusts payroll and pension service and some ad-hoc project work may also be required.

It is essential that you have good computer skills and sound knowledge of Excel, experience of using Electronic Staff Record (ESR) Oracle system would be an advantage though not essential as training will be provided. You will need to possess a strong customer service ethic and the ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively.

The Payroll office is based at Heatherwood Hospital in Ascot though this will be a hybrid role and there will be the opportunity to work from home some of the time. We currently have a full-time vacancy but will consider part-time hours, we also have a flexible working policy.
