Classroom Support is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a reputable SEN school located in Hackney. Our client is a coeducational day school providing comprehensive support to students across all Key Stages, including those with Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plans.

Position Overview:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing individualized support to students with SEN. Working closely with class teachers, you will help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and ensure that each student receives the targeted support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualised support to students on a one-to-one basis and within small group settings.
Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to tailor support according to each student's needs.
Manage challenging behaviours with empathy and professionalism, fostering a positive learning environment.
Collaborate closely with class teachers to align support strategies with classroom objectives.
Qualifications and Skills:

Previous experience supporting students with SEN is highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and take direction from class teachers.
A genuine passion for making a positive impact on the lives of SEN students.

Salary and Hours:
We offer competitive daily rates ranging from £85 to £95, reflecting your experience and qualifications. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, to be carried out in person at the school from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
