Summary

We are looking to recruit to Northwich, Winsford Frodsham and rural areas.

In Cheshire west and Chester adult social care our mission is to inspire hope and provide unparalleled support for the people and communities of Cheshire, helping them to enjoy life to the fullest.

The service is based at the portal in Ellesmere Port, the team however we deliver care and support throughout the borough in people’s homes.

We are looking to recruit individuals who truly care and are committed to making a difference in an individual’s life, We cover a 7 day a week service, therefore any successful candidate would be expected to work alternate weekends and bank holidays.

Enhanced rates paid for Bank Holidays, Evening and Weekend working.

24hr permanent position available.

Shift patterns are:

7am – 1pm
8am – 2pm
4pm – 10pm
As a provider service for adult social care, we have a number of Reablement worker opportunities within the borough, working for the local government who truly values their staff to improve the lives of our service users.

Travel is needed as part of this role; please demonstrate on your application form how you would meet this requirement.

What you will be doing…

You’ll be working with a warm, friendly team based in Vale Royal and Rural areas within the Cheshire west and Chester area.

Joining the Reablement team you will not just be joining a local council but a wider community team who support service users and their families to live full and independent lives.

Being a Reablement support worker means supporting people in their own homes for a short space of time to assist them to reach their full potential, this may include

Managing a variety of aspects of daily living skills including personal and intimate care supporting service users to become independent in their home
Setting clear and achievable goals to help people rebuild their former independence
Build confidence to sustain independent living at home and in their communities
Medication management
Supporting meal preparations
Previous experience in a care setting is not essential as full training is provided throughout your career.
