Job Description Radiography Assistant Practitioner Location: Duchy Hospital, Cornwall Hours: 30 hours per week, Full-time Salary: Depending on experience + Benefits Summary: Duchy Hospital is Cornwall's only private hospital with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare treatments and services. The two fully equipped ultra clean air theatres are particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures such as arthroscopy, hip replacement and knee replacements. The hospital is also equipped with a day case theatre, with endoscopy facilities. A wide range of diagnostic and treatment facilities are available including x-ray, MRI, ultrasound, physiotherapy, sports injury clinic, continence and health screening. The role: The role of the Assistant Practitioner is to carry out X-Ray examinations, as required by the department, under the supervision of a Radiographer within a defined scope of practice. The post holder will participate in a system that involves working over a 7 day week, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
