Summary
Job Title: CNC Turner Programmer

Salary: £34,000 - £36,000 DOE
Hours: Flexible 38hr week work hours between 6:30am-5:30pm
Founded in 1961, our client is a well-established sub-contract Precision Engineering company operating in the high-tech Oil and Gas, Aerospace, Motorsport and Architectural sectors
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
⦁ A high degree of experience and skill programming and setting CNC lathes.
⦁ Working on a variety of Mazak machinery.
⦁ A high degree of experience with Mazatrol controls
⦁ Used to working in a variety of materials and often to tight tolerances.
⦁ Able to use initiative in the tasks undertaken.
⦁ Positive, courteous, and flexible manner needed for working with our positive,
courteous and flexible team.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
⦁ To assist the planning and efficiency in the CNC sections.
⦁ Ensure all programs are saved and organised as per our company procedure.
⦁ Plan and specify tooling requirement for production, including fixture and cutting tool list.
⦁ Ensure machining processes are optimised, particularly on large batches.
⦁ Support and advise other employees when required, in machining and programming techniques.
⦁ Assist sales with technical advice, simulations & recommendations.
⦁ Working to established and developing company procedures in a continuously
improving environment.
