Summary
JOB TITLE: Bereavement Adviser
SALARY: £28,000 - £32,000
LOCATION: UK based - initial training for 6-8 weeks based Abingdon with accommodation provided if necessary.
HOURS: Full time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at any Hubs - Abingdon, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Hove, Leeds, London and Manchester.

Do you want a rewarding role which provides valuable support and guidance to our bereaved families?
Our services provide valuable estate administration support and guidance to bereaved families and is an integral part of the bereavement journey across the whole of Lloyds Banking Group.
As a Bereavement Adviser you'll work within a small niche team which begins the Estates administration journey and is one of three key teams making up our Estates business.
You'll be building relationships & supporting bereaved families at a very sensitive time whilst being able to identify and meet customer needs. You'll also be required to carry out varied administrative tasks, meeting demanding deadlines for completion.
Accountabilities will include:

Primarily undertaking a telephone based role, which requires excellent communication skills.

Performing varied administrative tasks (e.g. collate information relating to the deceased's estate, identify and mitigate any associated risks).

Working within current processes, systems, and procedures to create, organise and maintain files.

Working collaboratively with our Technical Support team & remote Bereavement Mangers

Using the full functionality of standard office software as required to prepare routine letters, memoranda, reports and similar documents following detailed instructions.

Accomplishing work objectives by determining own work schedule, whilst collaborating with other team members.

What you'll need

Prior experience of speaking with customers over the phone, which has given you a good level of telephony confidence.

Accustomed to adapting how you communicate with customers, using empathy and understanding, based on their individual circumstances and needs.

Competent level of Microsoft Word and Excel skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy levels.
