Summary
We are currently looking for a Microsoft Consultant to provide software development to quickly deliver innovative prototypes and digital solutions to support the growth and development of Capita divisions. You will be able to work collaboratively with business experts to understand their requirements and refine solutions built upon the Microsoft 365 Cloud Platform. The team will either deliver fully formed solutions to be maintained by the Software Application/Product Support team or a prototypes to be further developed by the Digital Development Centre.
What you'll be doing
• Meeting with stakeholders and clients to determine requirements
• Working with clients to determine scope of a project
• Clarifying system specifications and understanding the nature of the clients business requirements
• Helping to define software requirements
• Working on agreed solutions and implementing new system designs.
• Inputting into change activities
• Inputting into design, testing, implementation and monitoring activities
• Developing knowledge on products and/or services
• Develop and maintain knowledge and skills and keep up to date with new processes, procedures and developments.
• Service awareness of all the organisations business areas, drivers, structures and priorities including SLA and KPI's performance.
• Provide and implement Governance on the Power Platform, SharePoint Online and Microsoft Azure environments
• Document fully formed solutions and pass them to the Software Application/Product Support team.
• Document prototypes and pass them to the Digital Development Centre.
• Understand customer requirements and advise project team on highly specialized, complex solutions architecture and implementation.
• Conduct hands-on implementation, configuration, and development of the various components the Power Platform
What we are looking for
• Excellent understanding of low-code/no-code platforms .
• Possess an excellent understanding of key components of Microsoft 365 including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and Power Platform
• Able to consult and advise clients on the capabilities of the broader M365 platform
• Experience of Data Governance and Information Protection principals
• Experience of designing solutions using Microsoft AzureExcellent knowledge of the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Develop analytical and insightful recommendations to meet deliverable targets, and complete project tasks within budget and to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Clear communication, both written and verbally.
• Excellent time management and personal organisation skills, and able to multi-task.
• Active or ability to obtain SC clearance
