Job Purpose
I am a 17 year old boy who has autism. I am looking for a friendly and supportive PA to help me to enjoy activities whilst maintaining my safety. I am active and I like to be outdoors while going on walks, swimming and climbing. I may also want some company within the family home, to give me some respite.

My PA will need to be confident and be able to manage my challenging behaviour while building a relationship and developing my social abilities.

Location: NR15, Long Stratton

Main Duties:

  • Taking me outdoors to do social activities.
  • Doing things with me within the family home
  • Developing my social abilities.

Summary Terms and Conditions
  • You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses as part of this role.
  • The rate of pay for this position is £15 p/h.
  • Hours and times of work will be flexible with possibility of working both weekdays and/or weekends. Hours to be negotiated with Dad.
  • A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer
  • Satisfactory passing of mandatory training care courses.
  • Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
  • Completion of a satisfactory probation period of 3 months.
