Job purpose:I am a friendly lady with mobility issues, who is seeking a female PA for maternity cover to assist with everyday living tasks.I require someone who is able to work 2 mornings per week from 8am to 12pm, as well as one weekend per month, on both the Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 12pm each day. During this time I will require assistance with washing and dressing, general housework and meal prep.Someone who is also able to provide three 30 minute calls per week to assist with toileting needs would be ideal.Due to my mobility issues I use a power chair to get around my home. I also require the use of a hoist to aid my transfers from my chair and onto the toilet, as such someone who has experience of using a hoist would be ideal.My speech isn’t always very clear and people can sometimes struggle to understand what I am saying, as such it is important that people ask me to repeat myself if they do not understand. Failing that I can always write things down.This vacancy will be considered on a job share basis. Summary terms and conditions:
- The rate of pay for this position is £11.81 per hour
- You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role
- Access to free Care Skills training for employed workers
- Hours and days of work:
Two morning per week, 8am to 12pm.
One weekend per month, 8am to 12pm on the Saturday and Sunday
Ideally three 30 minute call per week at either 2pm or 6pm
- If this job role requires any of the following: manual handling, handling of hazardous chemicals or food handling, you will be required to undertake annual training
The post is subject to the following:
- A satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer
- Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer
- Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months
