It is advisable to refer to this when submitting your application for the post.Job PurposeTo provide companionship and social interaction.LocationThetford, IP24DetailsI am a lady in my 70’s who has Lupus, a mild learning disability and some mobility issues (I use a walker). As my family live some distance away I would like a friendly personal assistant to keep me company, both visits at home and short trips out. My P.A. may also support me to get to appointments if necessary. I enjoy going into Thetford for a coffee, looking around the shops and visiting garden centres. At home I like to read romantic novels and do word searches, I enjoy sports and ‘Vintage’ TV shows like Call the Midwife. Although I may be naturally wary at first I hope that I can form a good friendly relationship with my employee.Person specification· Outgoing and sympathetic to my needs· Flexible· Shared interests· Driver with own car and appropriate class of business insurance.Summary terms and conditions· The rate of pay for this position is £12.50 per hour· Hours and times of work: 2 hours weekly, flexible depending on what we decide to do and your availability.· 5.6 weeks per year pro-rata paid leave, inclusive of bank holidays· Free Careskills TrainingThe post is subject to the following:· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months
