Summary

Doing Amazing Things Together

We’re all about possibilities. Are you?

Are you a night Owl?

Are you Patient, Empathetic and Friendly?

Become a Waking Night Support Worker

What matters to the people we support matters to us. It’s their life, their way.

We are looking for an imaginative and enthusiastic person to join our team supporting 3 ladies in Costessey.

You will be working within their homes, so it’s important you can connect, share interests and be interested.

Some of the ladies may like to stay up late and watch a film, listen to Music with a hot chocolate, or enjoy a relaxing bath before going to bed. For others, they may be early risers and want your support to get up and ready for the day ahead, and so your role will be to provide responsive support during the night and early morning as required.

It is important you are able to get to and from the location for the night shift of 10pm-7am as public transport is limited.

So, if you enjoy building meaningful relationships and think you could plan, communicate and deliver support with and alongside people, then this is the place for you.

Affinity Trust does not presently hold a Sponsorship Licence and while this status is reviewed regularly there is no present proposal to apply for such a Licence

Why Join Us?

What will we do?

We will train you in everything you need to be a great Support Worker. We can also support you to achieve a Level 2 diploma in Health and Social Care and pursue a career that takes on more responsibility.

We offer Wagestream - a money management app that gives you access to a percentage of your pay as you earn it, access to coaching, vouchers, discounts, cashback and more.

What will you do?

Supporting people is really important but it’s not all trips out and artwork. We also support people to take their medication, make healthy lifestyle choices or maintain their home in a way they are safe and well.
It sounds exciting to say no two days will be the same, but in support, sometimes they are. Sometimes people like routine and struggle with change… But when you support someone to try something new – what a feeling!
If you want to empower people to live the life they choose and you share our values… Apply to become a Support Worker today.
